The largest single ski area in the valley stretching from 950m to 1900m above sea level.
       An exceptional 360 ° panorama of the Mont-Blanc massif is offered from the top: 55 km of slopes.

At the exit of the Mer de glace, about 20 minutes of skis on the back will be necessary to reach either the Montenvers train or the Mottets hut before heading to Chamonix.

• Aiguille du Midi

It takes about twenty minutes to climb the 1000 meters of elevation that brings you from Chamonix to the Montenvers-Mer de Glace site. The trip takes place aboard the famous little red cogwheel train. Time stops. The road on the side of the mountain, goes up in the middle of the forest, through tunnels cut in the rock and some viaducts. The high mountain is displayed after the last turn, the magic starts: you arrived at destination at the foot of the Mer de Glace, Drus and Grand Jorasses, at 1913 m altitude.
